In the February 2010 edition Special Features section, PSA contributed a piece titled “Assessing 2010 Elections Automation in the Philippines Detailing Technology, Process and People Risks” to the American Chamber of Commerce monthly journal. In this article, PSA identified various issues and risks that could derail the upcoming Election Automation in the Philippines. PSA identified several potential risks and issues covering all phases of the process starting from the bid evaluation up to the completion of the vote counting. The article also identified several potential scenarios that may arise as a result of a failure of elections due to problems arising from the automation process. *The PSA Business Intelligence Division is a regular contributor to American Chamber of Commerce monthly journal – a long-standing publication read by the international business community across the Philippines.
