Insurgency

Covers the prevailing situation among both the communist and Muslim insurgent groups in the Philippines, most notably the Communist New People’s Army (NPA), Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), and Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG). Each month, PSA collects information on the majority of violent attacks involving these groups and tracks the location of these events so clients understand and can avoid insurgent hotspots across the country.
